General
We correct recording chain issues—gain staging, frequency imbalances, distortion, and artifacts—and optimize your mix for any playback system. The result? Your recording captures the full energy of your performance, but louder, cleaner, and clearer—whether it's bumping in the club, your car, streaming online or on your favorite Bluetooth speaker.
Traditional mastering is for individual tracks. Bump Lab is designed for long-format DJ mixes (hours) where the songs are already mastered. We correct recording chain issues and optimize your ceiling for maximum impact. Your performance stays intact—we make the recording louder, cleaner, and clearer for any playback system.
DJs, producers, and radio hosts who record long-format mixes and want to clean them up quickly without spending hours in a DAW.
Yes. We don't share or distribute your mix. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit, and only you can access your files. Your mix is automatically deleted after 7 days.
Technical
We accept WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, M4A, and AAC files. Output depends on your plan: Basic gets MP3 (320kbps), Standard gets FLAC + MP3, Pro gets WAV + FLAC + MP3.
Maximum file size is 4GB and mix length is 12 hours at professional quality (48kHz/24-bit). Pricing is simple: exact time × hourly rate. A 2.5-hour mix is charged for exactly 2.5 hours.
We offer four presets: Streaming (targets -14 LUFS) for YouTube, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Beatport; Aggressive (targets -9 LUFS) for club systems; Personal (targets -11 LUFS) for car stereo, headphones, Bluetooth speakers; and Custom for broadcast, podcasts, etc. All presets use -1.0 dBTP peak limiting. Very dynamic or peaky material may measure slightly below the target—that's normal and how streaming platforms measure loudness.
Processing typically takes minutes, depending on the length of your mix. A 2-hour mix usually processes in 5-10 minutes.
Yes! Whether you recorded from a DJ controller, CDJs, turntables, or any other source, Bump Lab can clean up recording artifacts, clipping, and level inconsistencies.
The Process
Our proprietary processing analyzes your entire mix, then applies multiple optimization processes—cleanup, balancing, and final mastering—tailored to your chosen preset. The result is a cleaner, clearer mix.
We fix common recording chain issues: digital clipping, gain staging problems, level inconsistencies between songs, and artifacts from USB/hardware recording. Your original performance stays intact—we just make it sound professional.
No. We use gentle, transparent processing that preserves your dynamics and artistic intent. Our goal is "your mix, but better"—not a heavily compressed, artificial sound.
Traditional tools apply the same processing to your entire mix. We intelligently analyze and optimize different parts of your mix independently, so quiet sections stay dynamic and loud sections don't get squashed.
We target the ideal loudness for your chosen platform—whether that's streaming services, club systems, or personal listening. Your mix comes out with no distortion or clipping, ready to play anywhere. Very dynamic or peaky material may measure slightly below the target; that's normal and how streaming platforms measure loudness.
The preview demonstrates our processing quality—cleaning, balancing, and optimization—on a 60-second segment. Your full download is processed across the entire mix to accurately target your chosen LUFS. Integrated LUFS measurement requires analyzing the complete file, balancing all sections (loud and quiet) together. Preview segments represent only a slice of your mix, so showing LUFS would be misleading. Rest assured: your full job targets your chosen LUFS with -1.0 dBTP peak limiting. The preview shows the original LUFS to demonstrate our professional analysis.
Pricing & Beta
Pricing is based on three factors: the length of your mix, your chosen output formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC), and how many presets you want. Longer mixes and more output options cost more. Check our Pricing page for current rates.

Comparison
Those tools are designed for mastering individual tracks—they aren't focused on long-format DJ mixes. They also tend to require DAW knowledge, subscriptions, or expensive plugins. Bump Lab is built specifically for mixes: we preserve the original mastering of each track and only correct recording chain issues. Upload, choose a preset, done.
Yes! That's exactly why we built it. Manual cleanup can take 2-3 hours per mix. Bump Lab does it in minutes with consistent, professional results.
The songs in your mix are already mastered. We correct technical issues from recording (clipping, noise, level jumps) and optimize for your target platform. We don't add artificial "loudness" or over-compress your mix.
Support
During beta, we want your feedback! Let us know what didn't work, and we'll iterate. Our goal is to match or exceed manual cleanup quality.
Yes! Try different presets (Aggressive, Streaming, Personal, or Custom) and compare the results.
